Map of Israel and Palestine
Israel and Palestine
Israeli and Palestinian borders are constantly changing, depending on political progressions in the region. Below is a map representing Israel and Palestine as a single entity, though final borders of the country are yet to be determined as the country will most likely be divided into two separate ones: a Palestinian and an Israeli independent nations.
This entry, written in late 2010, will probably be accurate at least through 2011, 2012 and maybe far beyond, as Palestinian Israeli peace talks are at a dead end, showing no signs of an imminent peace agreement. Our assumption is that the borders of the map of Israel and Palestine will continue to change and shift while the negotiations continue.
Final borders of the Palestinian state will also be affected by any inner disputes between Hamas and Fatah, as Hamas controls the Gaza strip while Fatah controls the West bank - two Palestinian sovereign territories with no joint border or land continuity
